1. Data Controller

2. What Data We Process

In its current form, the Service does not require registration or login and does not collect your personal data on the server side. The only data that may be saved is information stored locally in your browser (localStorage): your cookie consent decision, your result in the “Fact or Myth?” quiz, your votes in “Fact Battle,” and the history of facts you’ve visited (for the “Krulicza Nora” mechanism). This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

The Service currently does not use any analytics or marketing services.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

Data stored locally (consents, quiz result, visit history) is processed in order to provide the features you have explicitly requested by using the Service (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR — performance of the Service’s functions and our legitimate interest in providing them).

4. Data Retention Period

Data in localStorage is stored until you manually delete it (through your browser settings or the “Privacy Settings” panel) or until your browser data is cleared.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to its processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO). Since the data referred to in this policy is stored locally on your device, the simplest way to exercise these rights is to clear your browser data for this site.

6. Data Recipients

We currently do not share data with any third parties.

7. Transfers of Data Outside the EEA

Not currently applicable — we do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area.
